| الوقاية خير من العلاج , يعتبر برنامج Live Defender درع حماية لجهاز الكمبيوتر حيث يقوم بمنع وصول أية برامج تجسس أو برامج ملحقة أو تروجان أو فيروسات إلى الكمبيوتر. ويقوم بإقفال ملفات الرجستري الخاصة بالنظام ويمنع التعديل بها، وبالتالي لن تنجح أي محاولة للإضرار بالجهاز. ويمنع البرنامج أيضًا التغييرات في الصفحة الرئيسية للمتصفح ويمنع محاولات تثبيت أي برامج تخريبية على الجهاز وكذلك أي تغييرات في صفحة البحث وأي محاولات لاختراق الجهاز. هذا ويمكن تعطيل هذه الحماية من مجرد نقرة واحدة على زر الماوس.
